Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is mdss s.r.o., IČO 09101179, registered office Poštovní 338/4, 733 01 Karviná, Czech Republic (“we”). Contact: hello@mydadsaidsorry.com.

What we collect and why

Purchases. Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing country and payment details to process the payment and handle tax, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and what you bought, so we can deliver the product, answer support requests and process refunds. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

Email list. If you sign up for our free guide or newsletter, we store your email address (and first name if you give it) with our email provider, MailerLite, to send you the guide and occasional emails about raising kids and our products. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Buyers’ emails. If you buy from us, we may occasionally email you about similar products of ours. You can opt out in every email. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and ads. Only with your consent, we use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful. Without consent, no advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.

Who receives your data

Lemon Squeezy (payments), MailerLite (email), Meta (ads, only with consent) and Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding). Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order data: as long as accounting and tax law requires (usually up to 10 years). Email list: until you unsubscribe. Support emails: up to 3 years.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Just email hello@mydadsaidsorry.com. You also have the right to complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
